1 lb. chicken leg or thigh meat (bite-size pieces)
1 tsp. powdered ginger
4 oz. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 cup “Jim Beam” Bourbon Whiskey
2 tbsp. white wine
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. dried minced onion
Begin by creating a small glass bowl of marinade, using the ingredients found in the Beer Marinade recipe.
After thoroughly mixing, pour over chicken pieces.
Refrigerate overnight, making sure to stir often.
In the morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place and arrange chicken, single layer, in casserole dish.
Bake chicken, covered, for 30 min.
Remove cover and bake another 30 min., basting regularly
You should now take from the oven, remove chicken, and place scrapings and juices into fry-pan.
Turn stove burner on med. heat and then add 2 tbsp. white wine.
After heating for a few min., add chicken and stir.
Serve this dish on a large platter of freshly-cooked rice.
